Reality Rift Arena was founded in 2019 by llya Vlasov when he came to Singapore from Russia to start this Esports business.

According to Reality Rift Arena, the word “Reality Rift” actually came from the popular game Dota 2, the skill of one of their character, Chaos Knight. This skill pulls a character towards him and Reality Rift Arena aims to bring something that they love, closer to them. Hence the name, Reality Rift Arena!

Ms Snow Wong, 23, a manager at Reality Rift Arena, also known as the Arena Goddess, says, “We aim to provide the best gaming experience gaming experience for our customers and we have rules that are meant to protect our customers and ourselves.”

Some rules include the crew at Reality Rift Arena not allowing outside food and drink unless customers pay a surcharge of $3; and also according to a law implemented by the Government, students are also not allowed to enter the premises wearing their school uniform and are not allowed to enter after 6:30 pm as well.

Mr Justin Chong, a regular customer at Reality Rift Arena, says, “It is such rules that makes customers like me want to come back and visit again.” This is because without the strict rules implemented, the place would be messy and untidy and this might leave customers with a bad impression or gaming experience.

If you ever do want to take a quick snack break, the arena offers drinks, snacks and also instant cup noodles for their customers and their prices range from $3-$5.

Furthermore, Reality Rift Arena is one of the few gaming cafés that actually offer other physical games such as Console and Racing games.
